This page contains downloadable resources to create your own Ubuntu marketing and conference material. During the formation of the DIY Marketing website. This page will serve as a temporary repository for materials not already accounted for in the Bazaar branch. If you contribute material intended to be printed, please try to use a free/open file format such as those produced by applications like OpenOffice.org or Scribus. To find out more about formats see FreeFormats.

If you intend for your materials to be printed professionally, please use either PDF or EPS in CMYK color and include source files and license information if at all possible.

Temporary Repository

Current materials of all types should be aggregated here for future inclusion on the diy marketing site. By "current" we mean anything from 6.06 onward, or materials that are not release-specific.

Editable DVD artwork

Here is the editable DVD wallet artwork for the latest release that Canonical has produced.

16.04 artwork

• Ubuntu 16.04 Desktop DVD wallet artwork' front.pdf, back.pdf and DVD face artwork.pdf.

• Ubuntu 16.04 Server DVD wallet artwork' front.pdf, back.pdf and DVD face artwork.pdf.

DVD Distribution Materials

If you print the pdf on letter size paper, the default settings will print only the back and middle of the DVD wallet. If you shrink the page to fit, the size will be too small.

To print the front and middle part, change your zoom settings to show only the front and middle page, then go to Print, Print Range = Current View, Check Auto-Rotate and Centre. The preview screen will show the correct size of the printout.

This is mostly all text of a Single Brochure Style, leaving graphic choice & design - up to the person presenting them.
