How to become member of Tamil Translators Groups for Ubuntu:

Step 1:

URL: [https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UserPreferences]

Open the above url and create a user name and password.

Log in to wiki.ubuntu.com

Step 2:

URL: [http://wiki.ubuntu.com/<yourname>]

<yourname> - Give your name.

This will prompt to create a new wiki page if under given <yourname> a wiki do not exist.

Go ahead and create. (This step is not mandatory but helps the world to know about each of us individually)

Step 3:

URL: [https://launchpad.net]

Sign in using the same user name and password u created for ubuntu at Step 1.

URL: [https://launchpad.net/people/]

Open the above URL.

Select the "Teams" check box and enter "Tamil" as search string.

Two teams, "Tamil Kudumbam" and "Ubuntu Tamil Translators" will be displyed.

Select "Ubuntu Tamil Translators".

On the left Navigation bar Click on the "Join the Team" link.

Confirm by cliking the "Join" button.

Do the same way for "Tamil Kudumbam" team also which we can use for purposes other than Translation.
