Summary

This spec proposes a a simple and consistent UI layout for mobile device applications. These wireframe diagrams are intended as suggestions, not as the way it must look.

Rationale

Applications running on mobile devices will need to be designed for the small screen. Resolution: 800x480. Size: ~4.5inch (~12cm) diagonal. In addition they should be simple to use, perhaps with less functionality than standard desktop applications, or better yet, the same functionality in a simpler touch-friendly UI.
