Introduction

Lubuntu 101 is a sub-project of WOW Lubuntu. These two projects are administrated by Lubuntu Communications Team, which is a sub-team of Lubuntu.

Lubuntu 101 will focus on 3 types of people/users:

  • Beginners to Lubuntu.
  • Newcomers to Linux, those who never heard about Lubuntu nor tried it yet.
  • Windows Users.

Whether meeting those three types of people/users in person or on any of Lubuntu Official Channels, the dedicated members of Lubuntu 101 project will do one simple task: showing the first step into the Lubuntu World. We believe this very first step is necessary and important to those users at the beginning. Once our mission is done, they should be able to walk through that path alone because they will have all the knowledge, enlightenment and guideline to carry on. That is the one and only concern of the Lubuntu 101 project.

Our Motto

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

Our Aims

1- To enlighten and educate Lubuntu beginners, walk with them on their very first step and show them the path that they need to follow after that step, which is using our Documentation and Wiki Pages, and if that did not help, then there is always our support channels running to back them up.

2- Explain "what" Lubuntu is, "why" it is, and how to use it, for those who never heard or tried it before.

3- Showoff Lubuntu to more people.
