  • I started Ubuntu Japanese Local Community Team in May 2005.

  • I maintain Japanese Team Web site, Forum, Mailing List and Wiki.

  • I've been taking the chair of #ubuntu-jp IRC meeting once a week - Meeting agenda and summuries (Japanese)

  • I build and distribute Japanese Remix Ubuntu Desktop CD - DerivativeTeam/Derivatives/Japanese

  • I talked about Ubuntu with some Japanese organizations which are interested in Ubuntu.
  • I wrote Japanese notes and appendixes for the Japanese edition of Ubuntu Official Book.

My vision for Ubuntu

I want to work for making Ubuntu major OS in Japan. For that purpose, I'll continue Japanese Team activity, commit for Ubuntu to make better support for Japanese and other multibyte language(see BetterCJKSupportSpecification and DerivativeTeam/Derivatives/Japanese), and write Ubuntu related web and magazine articles for Japanese users.
