My opinion about Ubuntu
I have been following Ubuntu since its first release 4.10. I have been playing on/off until I performed my first job with Ubuntu 5.10 (Jan/2006). I taught GNU/Linux using Ubuntu 6.04 to 7.04 at UNIR, Fudacite Zulia and URBE in Maracaibo, Venezuela. In Aug/2007, I bought ($$$ voting) my first laptop with Ubuntu 8.04 preloaded until today
I think that Ubuntu have a nice community / company (Canonical) relationship and balance. I appreciate all the hard work made by developers, promoters and end-users to make a great distro that I use for day-to-day activities. I would like to contribute more in the near future :-D
