== About Ubuntu ==

I have been following Ubuntu since its first release 4.10 and I have been playing on/off until I performed my first job with Ubuntu 5.10 (Jan 2006). Also, I taught GNU/Linux courses using Ubuntu 6.04 to 7.04 at [[http://www.unir.edu.ve|UNIR]], [[http://www.fundacite-zulia.gob.ve|Fudacite Zulia]] and [[http://www.urbe.edu|URBE]] in Maracaibo, Venezuela. In Aug 2008, I bought my first laptop with Ubuntu 8.04 Linux preloaded in Montreal, Canada :-)

I think that there is has a nice community (Ubuntu) / company (Canonical) relationship and balance. I appreciate all the hard work made by developers, promoters and end-users to make Ubuntu a great distro that I use for everyday activities (@home and @work). I would like to contribute more in the near future :-) :-) :-)
