Summary

The Intel ClassmatePC is supplied with a sonic pen and note taking application under:

• MS Windows version

• Linux version ( MetaSys )

This must be adapted to run on the Ubuntu version.

Requires the driver and application from Intel.

Release Note

• New requirement.
• Device specific.
• Edubuntu for the ClassmatePC specific.
• No impact on existing users of any previous Ubuntu version.

Rationale

There is a requirement for Edubuntu to match the functionality of the existing software versions.

Use Cases

• This software will provide the functionality required to take external input from the USB pen device and covert it into a electronic format that can be used in applications.
• To be expanded after Intel response.
